Moving to a new country can be an exciting experience for your newly-hired international talent and their family, but it can also present challenges. Our tailored Settling In Services help in making the transition to living in Sweden smooth as possible.
Whether it’s finding the right preschool in the area, understanding traffic rules, parking and parking signs, or navigating the local culture, we provide the relevant information and guidance to ensure that everyone in the family can adjust, settle, and thrive in their new city.
At Nimmersion, we understand the individual needs, concerns, and questions that may arise during the relocation process. Our philosophy is simple: we want to ensure that your international talent and their family feel at home from day one in Sweden.
We also assist your newly-hired talent in processing various services, such as applying for Swedish IDs, opening a bank account, and registering with various authorities. Rest assured that we make certain your new hire and their family receive the individual support they need to thrive in Sweden.
Our Process
We schedule a meeting with your international talent to explain the process of settling in Sweden and the steps to consider. We then create a plan tailored to their needs to make the settling process as smooth as possible.
To ensure the correct handling of the legal and administrative aspects of the relocation process, physical visits to authorities such as the Swedish Tax Office (Skatteverket), the Swedish Migration Agency (Migrationsverket), and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) are required. We provide support and accompany your international talent to these meetings. We also assist in establishing banking contacts and facilitating financial management and salary payments.
Your newly hired talent will need to complete various documents with various authorities, local healthcare providers, dentists, and the local municipality. We offer guidance and support through all these steps according to preferences and needs.
Some processes can take time. During waiting periods, we are always available to answer questions and address any concerns that may arise.
